Consultation Services for Human Resource Professionals

We'll be using this page to offer information on some common psychological difficulties and how they can affect your employees and your company.  We hope to help increase knowledge about difficulties that some of your employees may face and offer summaries of some research on the cost of lost productivity due to psychological difficulties.

We believe that caring, research-based treatment may offer a solution for your employees and company that:

bulletis supportive and offers quality treatment for your employees
bulletmay increase productivity by reducing time off due to sickness or diminished concentration, motivation, or energy
bulletcan help control health care costs by offering efficient and effective treatment
bulletmay reduce the chance of relapse for an employee who has received treatment

In working with Human Services Professionals our goal is to offer a win-win solution.  We want your employees to have access to care that may reduce suffering and open the way for them to enjoy life.  We want your company to have access to information on common difficulties and effective treatments so that it can make informed decisions about increasing productivity and managing health care and sick time costs.  The American Psychological Association has compiled some data on lost productivity associated with psychological difficulties, and the some of the benefits of effective treatment.  There are also data on the effect psychological treatment may have on decreasing medical costs.  While our focus is on working with each person individually to help them with their goals, we realize that organizations need information on whether such benefits are a sensible investment.  We hope this information will be of use.

If you have employees with children who are having difficulties, we also have a specialist in child psychology on staff.

Finally, organizations often are looking for information on how to help their employees following a traumatic incident, whether it took place at work or at home.  Please check the link provided here for important information on this issue.

At present, we are accepting psychotherapy referrals.  We also are able to provide presentations for companies and their employees and  consultation or education for human resources.  Please call or e-mail us if you'd like to learn more or if you have any questions.  Our phone number is (207) 865-9692.
